Here's my early opinion after watching the promos:
- Raising Hope
This looks GREAT. I'm so glad FOX is turning to more single camera comedies, and this show looks like it could be a classic. I laughed out loud several times during the promos. But it also looks like it could be touching and meaningful.
- Running Wilde
Great pairing for Raising Hope, really hope Glee helps these shows in the ratings. Keri Russel?! Will Arnett?! Coming to us from Mitch Hurwitz? Count me in, please.
- Lonestar
Not something I'm dying to see, but this looks well-written, well-produced, and compelling. And more like something from FX than FOX. I applaud the network for this one. I most likely won't watch it unless it gets picked up for a full season because my fall is going to be really busy, but I hope this makes it. If FOX can turn this into a success we'd probably see the networks going more for quality rather than simply "commercial".
- Ride-Along
I think I'll like this more than I did "The Shield", and also a bit like a cable series, although I think this one could be a hit.
- Bob's Burgers
Meh. It's good to see something that's not created by Seth McFarlane on FOX's Sunday line-up. Um...that's all.
- Mixed Signals
Looks decent enough, but doesn't look or feel like something that's going to last beyond its initial order.
