ABC's midseason comedy Miss/Guided has landed another cast member in Saturday Night Live showboat Chris Parnell.
Parnell, who recurred last season as Tracy Jordan's ethically-challenged caregiver Dr. Leo Spaceman on 30 Rock, has signed on to co-star on the ABC comedy starring Judy Greer as a hot mess and social reject who returns to her high school as a guidance counselor. On Miss/Guided, Parnell will play Bruce, a rival guidance counselor who clashes with Greer's clueless Becky.
Parnell, who has spent the last nine seasons on Saturday Night Live, will next be seen on the big screen in Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story.
In other casting news, Veronica Mars' Sheriff Don Lamb (a.k.a. Michael Muhney) has landed a lead on Lifetime's drama pilot Family Practice, opposite Joey Honsa and Beau Bridges.
Story revolves around a young woman (Honsa) whose life becomes entangled with that of a wealthy, Kennedy-esque family that runs one of the city's most prominent law firms under the watchful eye of the Kinglare pater familias (Bridges).
Muhney, last scene attempting to take down a perp as the morality-free Sheriff Lamb on Veronica Mars, will play Kent, the youngest member of the Kinglare family, who attempts to free himself from his overbearing family by becoming a public defender.

What I'll Be Watching
9 pm: Eureka on Sci Fi.
Season Two of Eureka continues tonight with "God is in the Details," in which Carter investigates a series of bizarre phenomena that may or may not be Biblical in nature when faucets start to pour blood and other crazy things happen in Eureka.
10 pm: Damages on FX.
FX's brilliant legal drama continues with an-all new episode tonight ("We Are Not Animals"), in which Patty goes to desperate lengths to keep Gregory Malina alive and get his deposition, Ellen and Tom--fearful that Patty is manipulating them--conceal vital information from her, and the pieces begin to fall into place as the audience learns what's really at stake here.
10 pm: Flipping Out: Jeff Lewis' Open House on Bravo.
It's a special reunion episode of Bravo's docudrama Flipping Out (which this TV writer is hopelessly hooked on), hosted by Andy Cohen (a.k.a. the most insufferable man in Hollywood). On tonight's special, Jeff, Ryan, Zoila, and Jenni reunite to answer viewer questions, present some extended scenes and unseen footage, and remind us why we love this drama-laden show.

But I have to admit it makes me feel bad for Percy Daggs III. Mars alum seem to be getting jobs left and right (KB is in Heroes & the narrator of Gossip Girl, Jason Dohring has Moonlight, and now Muhney has this) and Daggs is left doing commercials. Poor Guy.
